Real-time click scoring
Judged as it lands. Not in next week's report.
Batch reviews find fraud after it has been billed and the daily cap is gone. Maddet scores each click in the moment it arrives, so a bad source is stopped on its first few clicks rather than its thousandth.
The trust score
One number from 0 to 100, with the reasons attached.
The score is a weighted read of every signal that fired. You set the thresholds; the engine applies them the same way on every click.
Strong evidence of invalid activity. Flagged, documented and queued for exclusion.
Mixed signals. Marked for a human look instead of being blocked on a hunch.
Consistent with a real person. Counted as verified traffic in your reporting.
Default thresholds shown. Each account can tighten or relax them per campaign.
24 signals, four families
What the engine reads on every click.
No single signal convicts a click. The score comes from how they agree, which is why a shared office IP or a fast reader is not mistaken for a bot.
Network
Where the click came from, and whether that origin behaves like a person or an operation.
- IP reputationHistory of the address across abuse and fraud lists
- IP range densityMany clicks packed into one /24 subnet
- ASN typeHosting, data center or cloud origin instead of a consumer ISP
- Proxy and VPN exitsKnown anonymiser and residential proxy exit nodes
- Geo consistencyIP location outside the campaign's targeted region
- Timezone offsetBrowser clock that disagrees with the IP's location
Device
What made the click, and whether the same machine keeps coming back wearing different clothes.
- Device fingerprintA stable hash of hardware and browser traits
- Fingerprint collisionsOne fingerprint hiding behind many IPs or cookies
- User-agent consistencyA claimed browser that does not match its real capabilities
- Headless markersAutomation frameworks and scripted browser traits
- Screen and viewportImpossible or emulator-typical display sizes
- Language headersAccept-language that contradicts geo and targeting
Behaviour
How the click happened. People hesitate, scroll and move. Scripts do not.
- Click velocityClicks per minute from one source beyond human pace
- Inter-click spacingMachine-regular gaps between successive clicks
- Pointer traceNo movement, or perfectly straight movement, before the click
- Time to clickClicks landing faster than the ad could be read
- Session dwellSub-second sessions that never load the page fully
- Scroll depthZero engagement after arrival, repeated across visits
Context
Whether the click fits the story around it: the placement, the path and the account's own history.
- Repeat-device rateThe same device clicking the same advertiser again and again
- Placement historySources with a track record of low-quality traffic
- Referrer integrityMissing, spoofed or looping referrers
- Conversion pathPaths that never progress beyond the landing page
- Cookie continuityCookies cleared between every click from the same device
- Off-hours burstsSudden spikes at hours your audience is asleep
Why real time matters
The first ten clicks are cheaper than the next thousand.
A bot run or a competitor with a free afternoon can exhaust a daily budget before lunch. By the time a spike shows up in a dashboard, it has already cleared the cap and pushed genuine buyers out of the auction for the rest of the day.
Scoring at arrival changes the economics. A new bad source is recognised on its opening clicks, its identifiers are documented while they are fresh, and the exclusion is ready before the pattern has time to repeat.
Scores are also kept as a running history, so a source that looked borderline on Monday and bad on Wednesday is judged on the full picture.
Exposure estimate
Every click you scored late was a click you already paid for.
Enter what you spend on paid media each month. The slip shows the range typically lost to invalid traffic at that level. The audit replaces the range with your real figure.
- Lower band (7.000000000000001%)
- ₹35,000
- Typical (14.000000000000002%)
- ₹70,000
- Upper band (22%)
- ₹1,10,000
- Typical, over 12 months
- ₹8,40,000
